Cleansing - The flow is rendered shallow and partially impeded by a ford. The Five of Water enables crossing and cleansing through restriction and a break in the way, either the way of the water or the way of the path. The fifth Undine is a cleansing power, sometimes known as the Washer at the Ford, for in her most potent form she foreshadows the cleansing and crossing of death. This card usually implies the ending and purifying of an emotional pattern.
