The Element of Earth is solid, reflective, sustaining, form-giving and form-taking. In human terms it resonates with the physical body, the land, the planet. It also resonates with the times of night and winter, and the universal powers of Law and Liberty.
The Warrior of Ancestors
Earth and Air
She is tall and noble, with dark black skin, brown eyes and calm features. She wears a thick leather tunic or semi-armour with deep spiral decorations and wide shoulders with white bone frills and spikes jutting out. These bones seem to have come from some great beast, being its head or spine armour. Her arms and legs are bare, the semi-armour reaching only to the top of her thighs.
The warrior has long glossy dark blue and black hair reaching down to her waist. The hair is tied upwards with many silver rings, then falls down her back in a long pony trail. The sides of her head are shaven, and we see nine white dots painted there in three sets or triangles. She is striding from right to left as we look at her, with her long bare feet upon the sand. Behind her are no tracks. She is in the desert, yet carries no weapons or water. The wide sands stretch far away to some dunes in the distance, under a sky with a yellow tinge to it. Behind her to our right, in the distance is a tall needle of green stone reaching into the sky. It is of great height, yet slim and of one single stone.
The warrior is powerful and swift, skilled in the arts of combat and survival. Many of her skills come from other times and places, from ancestral cultures in the distant past, yet she is vibrant and alive. In human society this warrior is often competitive and combative because her true powers are not recognized, sometimes by herself and frequently by others. Through her flow all the primal warrior virgin goddesses and warrior priestesses, and through meditation on these powers she comes into her own.Often indicates an inner or personal journey through difficulty, with the strength to endure and arrive at the other end.
