The
Living World of Faery
Do you believe
in faeries? Your not-so-distant ancestors probably did, but
not as little glitzy people with gossamer dresses and butterfly
wings. If you want to experience the faery realm directly, this
practical intensive event is for you. A unique feature of this
weekend will be material from an 18th century journal, as published
in RJ's new book, The Living World of Faery. This material
includes the Faery Breath, physical relocation by faery allies,
Scottish seers in Virginia, and faery teachings regarding the
life of the planet. This workshop will also give you insights

A
weekend workshop with R J Stewart.
Did you know that there are ancient teachings
and methods of healing arts within the faery traditions of
Britain and Europe?
These

During this weekend workshop we will explore,
with R J Stewart, some of the principles and practices of
Faery Healing, and discover how we can apply and develop the
techniques today. This new workshop is based on material in
R J’s forthcoming book and CD Faery Healing, to be

think of the faery tradition as being a mixture of folkloric
customs and beliefs, handed down from ancestral culture. While
this is true, there are also magical arts hidden and implied
within the folkloric faery traditions.
In this
workshop, RJ Stewart, the leading writer, teacher, and expert,
on the Faery Tradition, will reveal methods of Faery Ritual
Magic. These are not, as we might think, folk customs, but
deeper and enduring magical arts found within the faery tradition.

first workshop from RJ Stewart that opens out an entire school
of faery magic for the 21st century. Two further workshops and
ongoing group work are planned for the future.
This workshop is only open to those who have done Faery Ritual
Magic 1 and 2 with R J Stewart, or by invitation. In some
areas this workshop will be in special location or retreat
center. You may be eligible if you have done previous workshops
with RJ: no new members are allowed for this event. To inquire

Please note, this workshop will not be offered again in your
area for at least one year.
In this third workshop, we work to seat the power in the Three
Sticks, with the spiritual directions Human, Faery, and Living
Creature. This is done through a unique and powerful ceremony
mediated during the workshop. You will also learn how to do
this fully contacted ceremony yourself, for ongoing work with
the spirit mentors and allies of this faery ritual magic tradition
.
Bring your Three Sticks, and prepare for the workshop by practicing
the Forms that you learned in the two previous sessions. Group
members are advised to refrain from alcohol or other substances
for at least one week before the event.

The
Immortal Hour
The Immortal
Hour is a Celtic and Faery ritual drama, written by the
19th century poet and mystic Fiona Macleod (William Sharp).
It tells the love story of Etain, an Otherworld Faery woman,
and Eochaid, High King of Erin. They are brought together
by the power of Dalua, the Mad One of Darkness. Etain represents
the spirit world, Eochaid the human world, and Dalua the universal
power of death and change.
In the
early 1900's The Immortal Hour was set to music by
English composer Rutland Boughton, and became the longest
running music drama or light opera of all time. Boughton's
lyrical and inspiring music is ideal for the songs and poems
of the play.
In
this workshop we will explore the deep and hidden aspects
of the
ritual drama in meditation, vision, and ceremony. Fiona Macleod
created a "Mystery", which is the ancient word
for a spiritual drama that brings through transformative
subtle
powers.
We will
also work with the wonderful music by Boughton, discovering
how it can be used in vision and inspiration.
RJ Stewart
has been exploring and developing deep inner work with The
Immortal Hour for ten years. He brings special insights
to this ritual drama through his long term work within the
Celtic Faery tradition, and his association with the British
magical order of which Fiona Macleod/William Sharp was a member.
All are
welcome at this event: previous experience of visualization
and meditation will be helpful.

THE FAERY CORD is a powerful magical
aid, companion, and embodies a tradition with origins
in the ancestral past, presented now with unique
methods taught only by R J Stewart.
THE FAERY CORD stands for,
and replaces, “implements of magic”,
enabling an almost invisible method of creating
power patterns,
that you can take anywhere.
THE CORD can be used uniquely,
in its own right, without other forms of spiritual
or magical work, and it may also be used with the
Magic of Three Sticks, as taught by R J.
THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES: 1.Empowering a Cord: the Ritual
of Inhabitation. This is a simple ceremony
that may be repeated easily, to attune and empower
your Cord. We work at the deeper levels with this

2.The Cord of Sustenance:
which Nourishes, Protects, and stands for many.
Used in personal meditation and magical work to
define boundaries, provide subtle sustenance and
inner strength, and to embody, and work as, a synthesis
of all magical tools.
3.The Cord of Connection:
which joins us to both humans and spirits. Used
in personal and group work to enable and open out
our connections to Allies, Cousins, Co-Walkers,
and Ancestors. Also works as a modulating or mediating
cord for the deep UnderWorld spiritual forces of
the Land, Ocean, and Planet.
4. The Cord of Memory:
which deepens and opens the mind. Since ancient
times, a cord has been used in connection with memory:
we will work together on some of the memory enhancing
and memory opening techniques that are possible
with your cord.
5. The Great Cord: making
and using a long-term Cord. This Cord can last your
entire life, and has many spiritual implications.
It is, essentially, the same Cord that you will
be empowering during the Ritual of Inhabitation
(above) and attuning during each session of the
workshop. ALSO: 6.Pattern Making, Boundaries
and Thresholds, Binding and Loosing, Knots.
7. The Small Cord: making
a short-term Cord for limited or one-of use.
8.Additions to the Cord:
Right and Left ends, Centre, fixed and permanent
additions, temporary and movable additions.

own height. Any color. May be braided or woven (Great

FAERY AND SPIRIT CORD
The Second Workshop
in the Cord Series, with R J Stewart. The Full

The Cord is the most effective and powerful spiritual
tool that we can develop and use. It functions as, and ultimately
replaces, all other implements, assists, symbols, or magical
tools. The Cord can be taken anywhere, and used “invisibly” in
meditation, visualization, and spiritual magic. There are
many curious, often unknown, powers in a Cord!
In this second workshop in the Cord series
R J Stewart reveals further ways of working with the Cord.
You will need a woven cord, of your own height.
This is not a folkloric or historical workshop.
You will discover how to attune your Cord to inner contacts,
how to use it to work with spiritual allies and subtle forces.
The emphasis will be on intense practical forms of cord work,
both for group and individual use.

THE CORD OF LIFE AND DEATH (3)
An intensive two-day workshop with R J Stewart
Part 3 of the Cord Series.At its deepest level of
sacro-magical power, the Cord is associated with
the experiences of birth, life, and death. From
the umbilical cord to the Silver Cord and Golden
Bowl of spiritual traditions, the Cord is both our
lifeline and our deathline.
In this two-day workshop, R J will teach a series
of forms (sacro-magical techniques) for working
with a physical Cord that connects to spiritual
and transformative forces. For those who have done
previous work with R J Stewart, these forms bridge
between the Faery and UnderWorld traditions, and
the Inner Temple traditions.
Subjects will include: Coming into Birth/ the birth
forces of the Lunar World/ archangelic and angelic
powers and traditions of birth and death/ the Cord
ceremony for peaceful death/ working with the death
forces of the Lunar World/ Connecting to ancestral
consciousness through the Cord/ Ascending through
the Three Worlds/ Spiritual or inner contacts at
